Friday Night Festivities

Road Trip

We’ve had so much fun tonight! Brian drove up from Cinti to join us! After a day of visiting back and forth and of baking up a Fresh Peach Cobbler for the Pot Luck Dinner, we joined the crowd for an evening of dinner, dancing, visiting, and libations. Diana introduced us to Blue Sky Sweet Peach Vodka! Verna got the Little Guy Ambassador Award which she richly deserves! DJ Dave played a few swinging numbers and we danced which led to identifying a few of our fellow T@B/Teardroppers who are also dancers. As the main party broke up a few lingered playing guitar music by firelight. As we were wandering to Doug & Mia’s for the next party we stopped snagged John of the incredibly decked out custom Silver Shadow and gave him a tour of our custom T@B. Now on to Doug & Mia’s for more fun!

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
