Beachtime then Dinner & a Movie

Family

After a morning of a flurry of last visits, last tours of each other’s teardrop campers, last showings of cool gadgets, last exchanges of contact info, last hugs, and waving good-byes, we welcomed Dave, Riley, and Peyton to our home at Atwood.

Their visit was one of a few firsts for us. Our first meal at the campstore here, our first visit to the Atwood Beach, and our first time hosting others for dinner and a movie using our outdoor television!  We’ve been blessed with visits with the girls and their dad in April and early July and are planning another visit later in August. Today was a wonderfully relaxed visit full of little fun adventures!

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
