Brian’s Full Set-Up

Family

When we were visiting at Winton Woods Brian mentioned that he would like to come up to Tearstock to take some photos of our full set-up. He arrived yesterday afternoon and joined in the Friday night festivities as well as taking pictures. It was easy to get permission for him to do his full set-up behind us. A backpacking tent is a small footprint even compared to a teardrop! It was good having him here! We’re looking forward to seeing his photos. Wonder if he got one with his rig next to ours!

Sorry. I got so involved in looking at all the other sites and meeting the friendly people, I never got to what I went for, nor even thought of our two set-ups together. Too much fun, not enough concentration. Oh well. If you find any photos I did take worth sharing, feel free to do so.

Wicked The Musical

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
