Lynne and Mary spent last weekend at Tween Creeks enjoying the house and environs. This evening they were both free for an impromptu dinner party at Winton Woods. We fixed a pork roast in the Cuisinart Oven, Lynne brought vegetables from both the Jackson County NC and Blue Ash OH Farmers Markets. Mary provided a delicious Merlot and dessert- Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chip and some delicious looking pastries for which no one had any room. Hope someone will be able to help us eat them tomorrow! Â About the time we were finished Brian arrived for some nighttime photography and conversation around our Campfire in a Can. A most convivial evening!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
