It’s our third trip through this part of New York. On both previous trips we traveled US-20 and loved it. The countryside is beautiful and we enjoy traveling through the small towns. Today we needed to make time because we have reservations at Geneva State Park in Ohio. So we are taking the NY Thruway and it is b-o-r-i-n-g. We’re both asking, “When will we get there? When will we get there?” It’s a beautiful day and we’re trapped inside this truck on this boring highway!

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

It’s been a fascinating two day visit to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. We managed to pack in tours of the HMS Warrior, the HMS Victory as well ast Victory Live: The
Big Repair, and finally the Mary Rose. All were incredibly informative and well presented.
