Aunt Sister’s Visit

Family

Once upon a time Sr Kathleen was a school librarian and Steve was a volunteer painter charged with the responsibility of painting the library. Thus began a friendship that has withstood tests of time and geography, strengthened by some marvelous book fair experiences, visits, and meals shared. When we moved to NC, she came to visit. When she moved to WI, we promised to visit but we didn’t get the opportunity. This month as we were headed toward that corner of WI, we learned she was taking classes in IL. So we headed to the northwest corner of Indiana chose Jellystone Park in Portage for its proximity to southeastern Chicago. Sr Kathleen, aka Aunt Sister, was able to come for an afternoon visit. It was glorious to visit, to share a meal, and to write another chapter in the story of our friendship!!

P.S. Have we mentioned that we love libraries?
