When we made our reservations for this week, we knew that Site 107 would be occupied on Saturday night so as we were driving in early Sunday afternoon we speculated on the likelihood that last night’s campers might still be here. In fact the site had been vacated but just barely. There was still a bit of a campfire in the ring. Would Smokey the Bear approve?

    Given the news coverage of everything out West burned up, Smokey would/should bop them in the back-side with his shovel.
    How did you enjoy the night without the quarter hourly alarms?
