Good Bye 2015

Road Trip

After a bit of an interlude, Ben & Lynda and the two of us reconvened for our New Years Eve festivities. After Mass at the amazingly beautiful Jesuit Church of the Immaculate Conception, we wandered through the incredibly decorated lobby of the Roosevelt Hotel before choosing Chef Duke’s Cafe Giovanni for a delectable New Years Eve dinner. We all ordered different dishes and shared tastes of each. Everything was amazing! Worth returning on our next visit. The music topped off the evening. Didn’t stay out to ring in the New Year though we two may stay up to see the first moments of 2016! Hope it is the beginning of an auspicious year for you, our esteemed readers!

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
