Karen’s family has had a tradition for as long as she can remember of saying “Wheeeeeee!” continuously in a single breath while crossing the bridge over the Ohio River into or out of Cincinnati. We continued the tradition with our kids and continue it still as we travel together. Oh, yes, as we come to the end of the bridge, we conclude with “All Gone!” Â We did it just now as we crossed the I-275 bridge.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
