Thought we’d be trekking south by now on a slow and rambling route to the Big Easy and our planned rendezvous with Linus, his parents, grandparents, aunt, uncles. However we underestimated how much time it would take to get out of the house for a multifaceted trip at Christmas and beyond. We’re still at Tween Creeks enjoying misty moisty weather, addressing cards, and running errands!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
