Road Trip


We paused for a bit on the east side of Panama City. Thought was to purchase a couple of items at the huge retailer, utilize their facility, grab a bite nearby, then catch a nap in the T@B in their commodious parking lot. We discovered the Hook & Ladder Salad at Firehouse Subs is quite a nice meal and energized us enough to skip the nap!

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
