It’s a glorious day in Texas! We took the opportunity presented by a pause in extended family activities to spend some time with our sons. We started the outing with a trip to Red Barn BBQ. We both had falling off the bone baby pack ribs and got tastes of the wings and the smoked brisket. Yum! It was delicious! Then we headed to the park, found a couple of geocaches, walked the Tara Trail, played on the play equipment, and delighted in a light hearted afternoon. We are truly enjoying these moments together.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
