Road Trip

New Years Day found us settling in at Buccaneer State Park on the Mississippi Gulf Shore. We unpacked from our New Orleans adventure and organized ourselves for the next two weeks of T@B living. We feasted on alligator and shrimp at Da’ Kitchen. Don’t know if that will bring us luck in the coming year but it was a fine meal that fortified us for some shopping and an evening of holing up inside while the rain came down outside. Now after a home cooked breakfast we are ready to begin creeping east along US-90. Perhaps to Gulfport MS.

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history.
