It’s that magical time of year when green begins to envelope us as we gaze out upon the woods around us at Tween Creeks. The dogwoods still have their blossoms and the newly emerging leaves seem to get bigger by the hour. Our days here these last few weeks have been filled with the mundane, mostly sorting through papers, scanning, and shredding. Soon we’ll be digging in the garden and enjoying the outdoors.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
