Postcards from the “Road”

Road Trip

We’re aboard Amtrak’s The Crescent on it’s daily run from The Big Easy to The Big Apple. We boarded just before 11PM last night in Greenville SC headed to Boston and a few days of hobnobbing with Linus and company. We had a decent night’s sleep considering that we are traveling coach and enjoyed breakfast in the dining car. We’re keeping the Boston folks apprised of our progress with photo messages. It’s the digital age equivalent of postcards from the road!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week.
