This afternoon we enjoyed tea and scones within view of Griffin’s Wharf, the location of the Boston Tea Party back in 1773. One of the teas offered at Abigail’s Tea Room is Singlo, a green tea that was the variety that was cold steeped in Boston Harbor that night. It was a pleasant interlude in our traipsing around town. Genealogy at the library, lunch on Boylston, then a pleasant stroll through Boston Commons and along Summer Street to the waterfront. May is a such a pleasant time to visit Boston!
