And then we joined the girls and Dave at their home in Canton today for some marathon game playing that started with several rounds of Hungry Hungry Hippos then progressed to Hi Ho Cherry O, Connect Four, Pass the Pigs, Go Fish, and some lessons in how to play Double Solitaire. All this was sandwiched between a lunch of salad and mac and cheese and a supper of pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. It was such a gently glorious day together. Can’t wait to do it again!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
