Karen’s First Address

Family

Karen has always known that she was born and baptized in Columbus but the family moved shortly afterwards and never even returned for a visit. With a bit of sleuthing she found the house address. Dad confirmed that he and Mother rented a second floor bedroom and a private kitchen in the basement both on the west (right) side of the house as newlyweds for Dad’s final year of study at OSU. Shortly after Karen’s birth they moved to a neighborhood nearer Model Dairy where Dad was a manager. Not long after that a new job prompted a move first to Louisville then beyond. More than twenty years later Dad again worked for a while in Columbus but the family never again lived here.
