Okay, so we had been forewarned that as part of the redevelopment plan for the Atwood group camping area that many of the trees had been cut down. A part of us hoped though that the trees inside the circle including the three that shaded our site would still be there. Silly us. It’s been denuded. A few trees around the perimeter but none at all inside the circles. It’s going to be a sunny week! But we’ll have fun. First with some granddaughter time out here then with fellow teardrop campers!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
