As it turns out our angst about the traffic we would encounter in our drive past the Seattle area was for naught. Of course the fact that we traveled south on the I-405 bypass on a Sunday morning was important in avoiding traffic craziness. Fascinated with views of Mount Rainier in the distance, we enjoyed a pleasant drive from Sedro-Wooley to Alder with a shopping/lunch break along the way. At Alder Lake Park we settled into Site #19 for a quiet afternoon.
