Woke up to temperatures in the low forties, gray skies, and lots of condensation along the metal trim in the clamshell kitchen. We figured out long ago that regardless of how cold it is outside that we have to open both the ceiling fan vent and the window at the foot of our bed just a bit to avoid condensation on the inside of the T@B. Something about the fact that we breathe all night and that introduces extra moisture into the atmosphere of the trailer? Seems that in the kitchen though that we get condensation when we use the heat pump. When we use the ALDE, which also heats the kitchen, that we don’t have the problem. Hmm! Guess it’s a good thing we’re planning on getting the ALDE repaired Monday! Meanwhile there’s the adventure of making our morning beverages and fixing our eggs and sausage on a chilly morning with a hint of drizzle in the air. So much more pleasant than the last couple of mornings. Looking forward to seeing the sun!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
