After our foray into the art world Sharon and Mike took us on a tour of Eureka Springs, a wonderful historic town in the heart of the Ozarks. We shot photos of beautiful Victorian houses from the car windows, stopped to check out the Spring Street Grotto, had a non-traditional meeting of the Mojito Club and pizza at the top of The Crescent- a haunted hotel, introduced the two of them to geocaching, viewed the statue Christ of the Ozarks in the twilight, saw a slab of the Berlin Wall, and just had an all around good time!
Cuyahoga Valley National Park
Over a long weekend we sampled some of the myriad things to do in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, unique among national parks for it’s environmental reclamation, historic preservation, and recreational opportunities adjacent to the populous cities of Cleveland and Akron in northeastern Ohio. Can’t wait to return and explore more.
