Our longtime friends Sharon & Jim, who followed our blog as we made our way around the country this summer, contacted us even before we returned to Tween Creeks and suggested we get together. We met today at The Carolina Smokehouse for some yummy pulled pork and delightful conversation then proceeded together to Silver Run Falls and then on to Whitewater Falls. Gorgeous with the autumn foliage and the perfect temperatures! We four enjoyed it so much we’ve planned another lunch and hike next week!
