With family members back into their routines and Joel on a bus home to Maine, we ventured into Boston. We noshed on New England Clam Chowder at Atlantic Fish then sought a fix for an iPhone that quits unexpectedly and got a warranty replacement! We found a cleverly hidden geocache, got lost in Prudential Place, and got a yummy dessert and coffee at the Newsfeed Cafe in the lobby of the Boston Public Library before making our way back to the house for a pork chops and sautéed apples and onions for dinner with Rachel, Greg, and Linus.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
