Super Bowl Streaming

Family

It’s not perfect yet but streaming the Super Bowl is getting better. When we did it two years ago we got to watch the game, or at least most of it (the streaming quit just before the end of the game) but we didn’t get to see the network Super Bowl ads. This evening we watched the game that broke Atlanta Falcons fans hearts on the Fox Sports Go app on our Apple TV complete with all the ads! We did miss one of the fourth quarter touchdowns but did get to watch the historic sudden death overtime. Not bad for a house without cable (or satellite)!

Underground at Charing Cross

Underground at Charing Cross

Our last day in London this trip we ventured underground on the Hidden London Charing Cross: Access All Areas Tour for a peek into the workings of The Underground a bit of its history and the uses of the Jubilee Line Charing Cross Station that no longer serves passengers but still has usefulness including as a filming location for movies including Skyfall and Paddington.

Simply Stonehenge

Simply Stonehenge

A half-day bus tour from London to Stonehenge gave us enough of an opportunity to gaze in awe at this ancient sacred monument, learn a little more about its history and construction and make us want to return for perhaps a more intimate experience.
