A Trove of Photos

Family

Last October we returned to Tween Crreks to find western NC and eastern TN riddled with wildfires. The Gatlinburg fire made national news but was only one of many north, south, east, and west of us. The smoke was so thick that at times we couldn’t see the trees behind our house. It made us wonder if this wooden house in the woods on the side of the mountain only half a mile from the edge of a national forest is truly the best place to store family treasures unattended. We’re now on a mission to make sure all the old photos and documents have been scanned before we transfer them to other family members who can store them more securely allowing us the freedom to wander in our T@B without worrying about theses irreplaceables.
