It’s always a delight to visit with Aunt Mary. This morning we stopped by Grace Avenue where she has made her home for oh so many years and enjoyed just sitting and chatting over coffee as rain softly fell outside. We told tales of grand children and great grandchildren and reminisced. While we were still there, her companion Rachel arrived and we had a chance to visit with her too. So comforting to stop in to a place that harbors so many wonderful memories, have a great visit, and know that Aunt Mary has such delightful company as we depart!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
