This morning we made the trek to the Apple Store at Kenwood to seek the counsel of an Apple genius on several questions. As a result of Ray’s helpful assistance we feel more comfortable with our plans to move forward with upgrading to Sierra, transitioning our photos from Aperture to Photos, and taking our entire digital life on the road in the T@B. We are heading home with a LaCie 4TB Rugged RAID external hard drive. So on this gray drizzly afternoon we’ll go back to Gail’s to create a backup then attempt an operating system upgrade on the MacBookAir. Oh yes, and we got a peek at the newest MacBookPro and think it would work well as an eventual member of our constellation of devices!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
