And Time with Cousins

Family

It’s been truly enjoyable having the opportunity to sit down at table with several of our cousins this week to share a meal, catch up on their lives, and share some family stories. When we met Pat and Joe & Carol in Milford they brought some old family photos they thought we would like to scan. One was of a woman none of them could identify but Steve immediately recognized their grandmother and knew exactly where the photo had been taken! And we visited with Helen & Fred at Eastgate. As we enjoyed pie after lunch, Helen told stories of Aunt Betty and Grandma Lizzie. Tonight Gail prepared a yummy dinner and Brittney & Eric arrived with a still warm from the oven Pineapple Upside Down Cake. When our tummies we happy we settled in for their first viewing of our 2012 documentary of our shared family history. It’s been a fun few days. The one disappointment is that with their move from Barrington to Bayley Place this past weekend, we didn’t have the chance to visit with Neil & Vi. Hopefully we can do that sometime in the near future!
