Time for one more Goetta fix before we leave Cincinnati. We hugged Gail goodbye this morning, packed up our things, and headed to Poochie’s Place on Ohio Pike for breakfast. One of us opted to forgo the eggs and just get a double order of Goetta for breakfast!  By the way the Wikipedia article on Goetta lists “gutta” as the Low German pronunciation and the other pronunciations a Americanized versions. In honor of our German ancestors, we’ll continue to call this delicious dish “gutta”!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
