Phở in Sylva

Family

The Southeast Asian Restaurant in Sylva Plaza has been open but a few weeks. They have just a few menu items but luckily Phở is one. We made plans a few days back to rendezvous with Mary and Stan here tonight without knowing at the time that the weather would be so cold and nasty. Itnever quite turned to snow where we were but it did at higher elevations including at Stan and Mary’s house near Balsam. It was a great night to fill our bellies with the wonderfulness of this Vietnamese noodle soup! So good to have Phở here in our corner of WNC!

By deliberate choice we were in Medina for all the winter holiday festivities from Candlelight Walk in the days before Thanksgiving through A Christmas Carol and A Celtic Christmas as well as an Alex Bevan Concert and a historic house tour all the way through Medina’s 31st Ice Festival but perhaps the highlight was the town hosting hundreds of folks whose homes and lives were devasted by Hurricane Helene at the A Promise of Christmas Event the middle of January. It’s an honor to be a part of this amazing community!
