Remembering Aunt Vi

Family

Today was a day for remembering and celebrating a very special person. Steve’s Aunt Vi has been a constant and positive influence on him for his entire life. She and Uncle Neil were married just one month after his return from World War II more than seventy-one years ago. Her children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends gathered to comfort Neil and to honor Vi. It was an opportunity to refresh some of our family connections and to tell stories. We were able to contribute a bit with some memories of Aunt Vi and other stories thanks our visits with the two of them through the years.

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history.
