Sunny Day and her person, Verna have chosen as their adventure this summer, camp hosting in Indiana’s Yellowwood Forest. We chose an overnight stay here expressly for the purpose of spending time with the two, and it was most delightful to sit, share wine, talk T@B, and to watch various varieties of wildlife. Next time we come this way we plan to check out nearby Nashville IN, noted as one of the 50 Best Small Towns in America especially for it’s artists and the T.C. Steele Historic Site. But for us today, it’s time to move on, it’s but a short drive to Bloomington and an opportunity to spend the Fourth of July weekend with some special people.
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
