For the twenty-four years prior to our moving to Tween Creeks, our house was the home of Mary Kay. It was here she raised her son Aaron. Today she, Aaron, and Amanda came to show Lila the “mountain chalet” where her Daddy grew up. She even got to stand in the doorway and see how tall she is compared to when her Daddy was six!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
