It was a good day at Sugarcreek. We brunched at Wall House, browsed and lunched at Lehman’s, enjoyed iced coffee and a little ice cream at New Grounds Cafe then visited with friends and learned even more about the 400 at nüCamp.  Then it was time to ramble. The Allstays app led us to Kokosing Camp & RV, a delightful family run campground. We chatted briefly with neighbors but mostly just enjoyed being alone with freedom to plot our route. We plan to be in Bloomington by the beginning of the July 4th weekend, the most popular weekend for camping all year, but in the meantime we have flexibility. Where shall we ramble these next couple of days?
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
