Wytheville Again

2017 New England, Road Trip, Virginia

It’s gotten to be a bit routine. We make the reservation via the KOA app. When we arrive Kayla greets us like old friends. We get the 400 situated then walk over to the Family Fun Center and order our pizza. Fifteen minutes later dinner arrives at our doorstep. After dinner we take a stroll so we can dispose of the pizza box. Tonight we decided to take our walk into the new area and and enjoy the sunset on the lake. One of these days we may pause and explore the area but this time Wytheville is once again a stop on the way to Ohio.

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
