There’s nothing like having local guides. Folks who know can lead you to the best Croissants and Iced Coffee at the amazing Farmers Market in Bloomington IN then stop at Rasta Pops to try some delectable gourmet popsicles, before leading you through a delightful Historic Antique Mall then guiding you to a quiet corner of The Tap for a midday thirst quencher and snack. In our rambles we sometimes stumble onto treasures like these but it’s such fun to be guided from one great spot to another by those in the know!
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
