In Wyoming, the Cincinnati suburb, not the western state, we met up with yet another cousin at the Half Day Cafe to nosh on delicious food. All three of us chose rather traditional breakfasts but with a bit of a twist like the rosemary potatoes and the sage sausage. It was such a great visit that we lingered telling family stories long after the food was gone and the coffee cups emptied. Half Day is a place the two of us would be happy to frequent if we lived here!
Imperial War Museum
London’s Imperial War Museum in Southwark founded even as the First World War raged offers insights into the myriad costs of the wars of the 20th and 21st Centuries. It was a most disquieting but valuable reminder of the myriad costs of war.
