It’s been a glorious eight night stay here at Winklepleck. From the time we arrived until last night we, and all the T@B-400 owners were giving tours multiple times a day every day. It was a blast! And we made some wonderful new friends. That said, we are looking forward to more 400s at next year’s event. It’ll be good to spread the joy, and to have time to relax with old friends. Now as we say goodbye to Site 20B we are passing the Sole Survivor baton to David & Gisele who will be the last üCamp17 campers this year, as we were at the gathering at Atwood in years past.

Imperial War Museum

Imperial War Museum

London’s Imperial War Museum in Southwark founded even as the First World War raged offers insights into the myriad costs of the wars of the 20th and 21st Centuries. It was a most disquieting but valuable reminder of the myriad costs of war.

London’s Canals

This stay in London has given us new opportunities to explore and learn more about how canals contributed to the growth of this great city and how they are being used and preserved today.

National Portrait Gallery

National Portrait Gallery

It was a most educational visit to the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery at Trafalgar Square in Central London. We were intrigued with the contemporary approach to presenting British History.
