Wow! What a wealth of information we walked into when we stopped by the Harper’s Ferry Visitors Center. Yesterday we came by in the afternoon to learn the ropes and get some basic information before riding the shuttle to Lower Town. We stopped in afterwards to ask a couple questions and got into a discussion with two rangers. This morning we stopped by again and engaged in a long discussion about historic sites in the area, the importance of historic preservation and education, and more with the ranger and volunteer. Thanks, Jeff, Guinevere, and Pam for the enrichment!
