Shenandoah National Park, Virginia’s Skyline Drive, Mile Marker 51, Big Meadow Campground, Site C-131. Walk In only, non-reservable, no hookups, generator permitted, nicely situated for solar but with shaded area for chairs. Back in site with woods behind for a degree of privacy and a view of trees through the stargazer window! Predicted temperatures just about perfect. Peanut butter, crackers, and dried fruit for lunch and a grocery store just down the road. Waterfall hikes nearby. Ranger talk at the amphitheater tonight. Everything we need and then some!

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
