Walk In only, non-reservable, no hookups, generator permitted, nicely situated for solar but with shaded area for chairs. Back in site with woods behind for a degree of privacy and a view of trees through the stargazer window! Predicted temperatures just about perfect. Peanut butter, crackers, and dried fruit for lunch and a grocery store just down the road. Waterfall hikes nearby. Ranger talk at the amphitheater tonight. Everything we need and then some!

The purpose of our trek to Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham in the southwest of London was to see a recently recovered bronze bust of the Emperor Caligula but we discovered so much more in the recently restored 18th Century “little Gothic castle” built by Horace Walpole.
