The T@B-400 refrigerator was in desperate need of a refill. We had deliberately used up the perishables in anticipation of storing the trailer for our foray into Boston and six days of meals shared with family and friends. Now we’re back on the road. Today we traveled US-5 and MA-2 until we reached Littleton where we set up for two nights at Boston Minuteman Campground, Site 47 then headed to the Market Basket but first stopped for a most delicious meal at Burton’s Bar & Grill. Now we’re prepared for a grill night and several days of good eats.

Slow Journey Home

Slow Journey Home

Our journey from Portsmouth, England to our home in Ohio might have been accomplished in about sixteen hours but my avoiding air travel we were able to enjoy a fifteen day journey home via train, ship, Uber, train, as well as our own feet and finally our personal vehicle.

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

It’s been a fascinating two day visit to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. We managed to pack in tours of the HMS Warrior, the HMS Victory as well ast Victory Live: The
Big Repair, and finally the Mary Rose. All were incredibly informative and well presented.
