Last night well after dinner the hankering started. We were both wanting something, a bit of a comfort food kind of something, and realized it was Pie! We had no pie and it wasn’t reasonable to be heading out in the dark on unfamiliar roads in search of pie so we promised one another to get pie as soon as possible. That possibility happened at the Big Apple Diner just south of the NY-VT border on US-4. Luscious Homemade Cherry Pie topped with rich Vanilla Ice Cream. If your hankering is for a different kind of pie, this place is certain to offer what you are looking for, there’s about a dozen varieties on the menu!
