The Trapps in Vermont

2017 New England, Road Trip, Vermont

America fell in love with the Trapp Family in 1965 with the release of the musical, The Sound of Music. Today In the company of Jane, our local guide, we visited the Austrian Alps inspired Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe where Jane initiated a conversation with Kristina, a von Trapp granddaughter who is actively involved in the ownership and management of the family business and a native of this small Vermont town.
