Georgia State Parks

Georgia, Road Trip, States

For thirty years we’ve been fans of Georgia State Parks and have some sweet memories of Spring Break trips with our youngsters to places like Hard Labor Creek or Unicoi. In more recent years we have explored other parks such as Cloud Canyon. One park we’ve driven past countless times and always remarked that we should plan someday to stop and visit is Tallulah Gorge. That “someday” is here. We arrived early afternoon and booked a three night stay. We were set up before the rains started. Now it’s time to just relax and enjoy camp on a rainy day and happily look forward to tomorrow’s adventures.
