Out and About

2018 Northeast, Ohio, Road Trip

The last time we visited Sugarcreek our dear friends Elsie and Sarah invited us to their house for homemade Rhubarb Pie and Garden Tea. Tonight we invited them to join us for dinner and requested they choose a restaurant new to all of us. Malcuit’s Tavern in Strasburg OH was the choice and we all loved it. Excellent steaks done perfectly. Since we all saved room for dessert so we ventured into Dover for ice cream at Miller’s Creamery, another spot new to all of us. We love every opportunity we get to spend time with these wonderful women!

Burgh House Hampstead

Burgh House Hampstead

Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
