Testing the Array

2018 Northeast, Road Trip

For the past several years we have traveled with a Zamp 80W solar panel suitcase and found ourselves underpowered in dry camping situations. One issue in our smaller T@B was that the battery was undersized when paired with a 12V refrigerator, even with its efficient Danfoss compressor. Now in our current T@B not only do we have a 235aH AGM battery and an efficient Danfoss fridge but we recently purchased an additional 80W Zamp panel and Y-connector. On sunny days we should have no problem recharging the battery with our double panels and with our beefier battery we should be able to have enough power to make it through some cloudy and rainy days. For extra insurance we have our 2000W Honda generator. Looking forward to more off grid nights this summer!

Wicked The Musical

In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
