A Wedding Toast

Family, International, Ireland

This afternoon at 1:15PM MDT Megan and Arden are saying their wedding vows in a simple civil ceremony in Santa Fe NM. Although every one of us would dearly love to be at that event, we’re at the Cliffs of Mother looking west across the Atlantic at 8:15 Irish Standard Time thinking of them and toasting them. We made a video of our toast to them that we’ll send to them after they have made tomorrow’s flight to Stuttgart and Arden’s apartment where he is currently stationed. Hopefully this amazing World Heritage Site will be a place the two of them will someday visit and feel our love and warm wishes for them again. It’s gorgeous and windy and chill here as the sun sets. It’s a glorious place to hike and there’s incredible scenery!

We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.

Wicked The Musical

Ever since its debut on Broadway the two of us have wanted to see “Wicked the Musical”. Today we realized that dream. In the Apollo Victoria Theater in London’s West End we were witness to the incredible prequel to The Wizard of Oz, the story of the Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens

London’s National Portrait Gallery’s temporary exhibition, “Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens” presents an amazing collection of portraits, jewelry, personal effects, books, costumes, and more to illustrate not only the lives of the six women who married the second Tudor king, but the effort across five centuries to keep their memory alive.
