Last night Sally was talking about the possibility of treating herself to a Canadian Rockies Train trip for an upcoming birthday. We thought it would be fun to go with her to the Traverse City AAA to begin the planning process. And the two of us took the opportunity to get some maps, tour books, and ideas for our excursion into Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and possible adventures in British Columbia. Our experience with Doreen was fabulous! Here’s hoping her upcoming trip to Alaska exceeds all her expectations!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
