Who could resist an opportunity to enjoy ice cream prepared on site within sight of the dairy cows that produce the raw materials for this delicious frozen confection? Not us! Sally proposed a trip to Moomer’s and we said “Yes!” We recall having tasted this great ice cream once before, in September 2012. We don’t have a blog record of it because we were having technical issues but do still have the text message we sent to a friend at the time! Let’s just say Moomer’s Ice Cream is memorable as well as rich and tasty!
Burgh House Hampstead
Off the beaten path is Hampstead is the more than three hundred year old Burgh House with a fascinating history. It’s now a community center, local museum, gallery, concert venue, event space, and more open to the public four days a week. We popped over for a bite to eat and to peruse the galleries to learn a little more about Hampstead history.
